Liferay Developer

We are looking for a Liferay developer to build web applications.

In this role, you will design and create projects using the Liferay DXP platform, and assist the team in delivering high-quality web applications, services, and tools for our business

3+ plus years of experience in Liferay (preferably Liferay DXP) based project development including Portal/WCM/DMS/, Analysis, design Experience in Architecting/designing, and deploying Liferay solutions. Responsibilities and Expertise in designing applications in Liferay Strong in J2EE/Spring/Hibernate, Web services.

Should have experience with configuration/customization of Liferay Portal, web content management and workflow management. Exposure to developing Modules, LR Configuration, deployment, application integration on LR, Service Builder Configuration, and Themes Exposure to developing Cluster/Replication Setup, LR Performance Configuration, deployment, application integration, Workflow configuration, Service Builder Configuration.

Good understanding of designing Content Structures, Web Content Templates, and User/Role/Group/Community configuration. Should adhere to development plan prepared by enterprise architects and guide team for any query in J2EE, HTML5, AJAX, JQuery, and Angular Should be able to understand business requirements and translate to information architecture/software development Strong in Documentation with experience of working in an Agile/Waterfall based delivery model.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy web applications using the Liferay DXP platform.
• Design and implement customizations and extensions to the Liferay DXP platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure that Liferay-based applications are scalable, secure, and maintainable
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality of the codebase.
• Communicate with other backend and front-end engineers
• Create written documentation for each component
• Presenting work in meetings with clients and management.

Requirements & Skills:

• Hands-On experience in LifeRay Portal development.
• Experience in an end-to-end implementation of Liferay Portal.
• Strong experience in any MVC framework preferably in Spring.
• Strong knowledge of the Liferay portal, including portlets, themes, layouts, and extensions
• Good Knowledge of Liferay Workflow implementation
• Strong knowledge of Liferay web content, including templates, structures, blogs, and message boards
• Ability to write PlSQLs in Databases like., MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
• Have good understanding of web portal technology, html, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript.
• Integrate Liferay DXP with other enterprise systems and application
• A degree in programming, computer science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript.
• A portfolio of applications and programs to your name.
• Problem-solving skills and critical mindset.
• Great communication skills.
